The following pages host a collection of drastic photographs, not seen in any other group. They are a documentation of war crimes executed during the Warsaw Uprising, e.g. civil casualties of air raids and bomb explosions. The photographs of Eugeniusz Haneman show the exhumation, which took place in spring of 1945 and carbonized human remains of a burned down field hospital in Old Town. However, the largest group of photographs are from insurgent burials, some celebratory with the presence of entire troops; others of brief burials in group graves. There are also images of graves, dug out in yards and sidewalks, oftentimes adorned with flower pots.
